Note: Sarah Jane Garn was born in Indiana & married Martin Garn Sept
1, 1870. She died June 6, 1892 at age 43. They moved to Wexford County in the Spring of 1885, and in April 1892 moved to Eden Mi. In April 1888 while Bro. L. P. Lawton was holding a revival meeting at the Dayhuff school house, the Holy Spirit did his office work in conveting Bro. & Sis Garn. She held fast the profession of faith unto the end.
For over 1 year while consumption was washing the physical, Sis Garn was "drawing water with joy from the wells of salvation["], saying at the last, "Instant death will be instant glory."
She leaves a husband, five sons and three daughters.
