Census: 1851 Place: Oldcoates, Styrrup Twp, Retford Dist, Bassetlaw Borough, Nottinghamshire Immigration: 15 NOV 1854 Note: "The family of William and Mary(Gray) Marrison sailed from Liverpool, England in the ship Emerald Isle and landed in New York on 15 November 1854. They settled in Ashtabula county, Ohio, where William declared his intention of becoming a U.S. citizen on 11 November 1858. 1870 Census:  30 JUN 1870 Place:  New Lyme, Ashtabula Co, Ohio Note:  Three children as well as one child's family are living in household. 1880 Census:  02 JUN 1880 Place:  New Lyme, Ashtabula Co, Ohio Note:  Living with son, Augustus's family.
