Note: Mary Aiken St John was left a widow with a babe in arms and No doubt distraught and not coping well after such loss. An Aaron Comstock was given guardianship of their son Harvey and the other children. Nehemiah’s grandfather was Daniel Comstock St John, his G/grandmother was Elizabeth Comstock St John and his GG/grandfather was Christopher Comstock, so this explains the Comstock relative stepping in to help out when Nehemiah died.
